REGISTRATION

  & TUITION  

  • There is a yearly registration fee for new and returning students.

  • For all classes, tuition should be paid on a monthly basis. There is a reserved space for each student within each class, therefore, advance payment is necessary and should be renewed by the time the current expires.

  • Your monthly tuition is based on 4 classes. Holidays that the studio are closed are made up in a month that has 5 weeks.

  • Forms of payment- We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

  • Payment is due on the 1st of the month. Please pay on time in order to avoid the $15 late fee.

  • There will be a $35 fee for checks returned for in-sufficient funds.

  • Family discounts available. Please see the office for more specific info/fees.

*Please note that tuition prices vary upon number of classes taken at the studio. Unlimited class cards/family discounts are also available. Please contact or call the studio for more info regarding your specific classes and pricing.


Rules &

regulations 

  • Please no street shoes on the dance floors.

  • No jewelry or gum chewing in the studio.

  • Label all your dance wear, shoes and personal items.

  • Please do not touch the mirrors or hang from the barres.

  • No food or drink allowed in dance rooms - we have a designated snack area for this reason.

  • In order to eliminate all outside distractions and to ensure our dancer’s focus is on themselves and their instructors, we ask that if your child is with us for more than an hour at a time, to leave and return when their class is completed. If it is necessary that you stay, please keep the waiting room as quiet and clean as possible.

  • Students must wait inside the building to be picked up. Please let staff know if you will be late. Students are not permitted to leave without an adult.

  • Enjoy the art of dancing, respect fellow dancers, teachers, the studio, yourself, and HAVE FUN!


dress code 

  • While we do not have a specific dress code, any leotard, tights, fitted clothing (something dance/ gym appropriate) are required.

  • Please wear outfits that are easy to move in and see your body in order for the teacher to make corrections as appropriate.

  • Please have hair tied back off neatly and away from the face.

  • Designated shoes/ implements are required for certain classes as well. Please check with your instructor for more specific info regarding your specific classes.

  • Quality dance shoes & implements (both new and used) can be purchased at the studio where we have a wide selection at reasonable prices.


attendance 

  • In order for students to make progress, they need to be attending class regularly - Dance class is a group effort and therefore absence affects everyone.

  • Arrive on time in order to avoid distractions and missing warm-ups.

  • Please notify the studio if a student will be absent from class.


Performances & events

  • Summer Recital - June

  • Annual Awards Banquet

  • Holiday Show - Mid December

  • Studio & Family Halloween, Easter, holiday parties/ events etc.

  • Community Performances (nursing/assisted living homes, St. Patricks Day parade, camps, etc.)

  • Please be aware that there will be additional expenses from time to time, such as recital fees, costume & alteration fees, etc. - You will be informed of these expenses with adequate time before each event in order to help you decide if you would like to participate or not

*Please note we do offer a few optional fundraisers throughout the season in order to offset some of the costs of costumes, recital Fees, etc.
