MIss Judi t. 


Judith (Tessitore) Nietupski is a native Rhode Islander who began her extensive study of dance at the age of five. As a child performer she was featured with numerous TV and radio personalities. She has attended numerous workshops throughout the US and is educated in various methods of traditional, cultural and social dance forms. Judi has appeared with celebrities and was honored to become Mrs. Rhode Island America in 1986 and had the opportunity to participate in the nationally televised Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas where she was awarded Best Costume and Mrs. Congeniality. 

Among her diverse interests in the dancing world, Judi has long been dedicated to Polynesian and Hawaiian dance forms. She brings this exotic magic to RI from studies at Brigham Young University and field studies all throughout Hawaii. Judi presents her students with many opportunities to participate and perform at various events such as the premiere opening of the animated Disney movie, Lilo & Stitch, at various Showcase Cinema locations, the RI World War II Memorial, Christmas-is, Jerry-Lewis Telethon and more throughout the years. "Dancing with Stars" also chose this studio to film one of their productions, which included some of her students.     

Judi T. holds many prestigious awards such as "Woman of the Year" and the "Distinguished Community Service Award". For over 40 years she has directed an educationally entertaining studio with professionalism for all her students and families to enjoy and remember for a lifetime.  


miss jennifer 


Jennifer is a RIC gradate with a bachelors degree in business management. Her talents and skills include acrobats, ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz & Hawaiian. Jen’s many years of training and experience in dance have earned her the position of top choreographer & assistant director to the Judi T. Dance Studio & C.E.O and Liaison to the Party Line. Locally & nationally, Jen has participated in numerous shows & charitable organizations. She frequently visits Hawaii and continues to study under the direction of Derek Daniels; world famous director, producer & choreographer. Miss Jen’s favorite part of teaching dance is instilling confidence and discipline in her students.

Jessica's love of dance can be recognized in her style of teaching tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, Hawaiian, hip hop, and acrobats. Jessica has performed locally and nationally in numerous shows. She continues to study authentic Hawaiian/Polynesian dancing by traveling to Hawaii and performing and attending classes on a yearly basis. She is a 2011 graduate of Coventry High School where she was on the dance team and then head coach for 7 years. She also attends various classes, seminars, and competitions in order to stay current with the evolving dance world. In 2015 she graduated from the University of Rhode Island and is also employed at Rhode Island Children’s Dentistry. The only thing Jessica loves more than performing herself, is sharing her love & passion of dance with her students.


Miss Lauren

Teacher/ Choreographer

Lauren is a sophomore at Rhode Island College studying business management. She has studied 17 years with our studio and has become an avid dancer. Her classes include ballet, lyrical, acrobats, hip hop, jazz, tap and Hawaiian. Lauren has showcased her dancing talents at many community events throughout Rhode Island and recently competed as a pro-amateur, receiving a platinum award and first place overall. She teaches all styles of dance and encourages her students to dance the best that they can! She is also very involved with the “Party Line”, a division of the Judi T. Dance Studio.


Miss Shaina 

teacher/ CHOREOGRAPHER/ competition director

Shaina has been dancing for 24 years. She is a graduate of Dean College with a major in Dance and Liberal Arts and Sciences. Shaina was a professional dancer for the Major League Lacrosse team and the Boston Cannons. She is well versed in all styles of dance including hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, tap, ballet, jazz and pom and has also judged local dance competitions. She has been teaching dance for 8 years and is thrilled to be the director of the new Judi T. Dance Company/Competition team and to continue sharing her exciting & energetic choreography with her students!



miss amanda

teacher/ choreographer

Amanda is a 2010 graduate of CCRI with an associates degree in Chemistry. She is employed at Rhode Island Eye Institute as an optometric technician. In addition to being a dancer, she stays active with kickboxing, Zumba (former instructor), and HIIT. Amanda has been a dedicated student and now teacher at the studio for 20 years with training in ballet, Hawaiian, tap and jazz. She has traveled, studied & performed in Hawaii numerous times and also took extensive tap courses in the Boston area. This dance season, Amanda is specializing in teaching the advanced tap class and loves to watch her students challenge themselves and accomplish new goals!

Shirley has been with our studio for 18 years. She is responsible for preparing many of our stage sets throughout the years, themes for our recitals, and carrying out secretarial duties. For over 30 years Shirley had a career in banking, working her way from a teller to a branch manager. She has held many volunteer leadership roles and has earned several recognition's along the way. Shirley is dedicated to Our Lady of Czestochowa church, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Judi T. Dance Studio.
